Initially, a physician order for occupational therapy services is required. During the evaluation process, the occupational therapist assess underlying deficits, through skilled observation and parent interview, a treatment plan is conducted including short term and long term goals to improve functional limitations.
We provide in-home and school skilled treatment sessions, involving activities to address short term and long term goals. Therapist provides one-on-one treatment to enhance progress.
Parent education provides consistency between treatment sessions. Provides optimal collaboration between the parents and therapist on progression of established goals.
